PCT presents Jr. Starz Theatre Workshop

Memorial Auditorium, 503 N. Pine St., Pittsburg, KS. This two-week workshop will introduce children, ages six to 12, to theatrical activities, including acting, singing, dancing, stage directions, prop construction and costuming. At the conclusion of the workshop, children will stage a production for their families and community members highlighting what they have learned. Two sessions are available Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Cost: $50 per child. Performances will take place Friday, June 22, at 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm. Monday through Thursday, at Pittsburg Aquatic Center, 708 W. 9th St., Pittsburg, KS. Two session times offered: 11:00 am - 11:40 am and 7:15 pm - 7:55 pm. Participants will enjoy strength exercises as they walk or jog through the resistance of the lazy river current. This lower body and cardio workout is a great opportunity for parents with kids in swim lessons, which are held at the same time. Adult Swim Practice Session 1

Monday through Thursday, 11:50 am - 12:45 pm, at the Pittsburg Aquatic Center, 708 W. 9th St., Pittsburg, KS. The first session runs from June 11 - June 28, and the second runs from July 9 - July 26. This one hour of swim practice is for competitive swimmers and triathletes, as well as adults who would like an introduction to competitive swimming. A certified swim coach will organize workouts. Raleigh Ringers in Concert

The Treble Clef Club of Pittsburg presents the internationally acclaimed Raleigh Ringers Bell Choir in concert Monday, June 18, 7:30 P.M. at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. This highly entertaining ensemble performs music from the classics to contemporary hits and everything in between!  They are as innovative and creative to bell ringing as Elvis was to rock and roll.  Pittsburg was extremely fortunate to be included on this year's nationwide tour.  Tickets are available from the PSU ticket office and at the door.
