Customer Service+ Workshop with Joe Dellasega

Moving from Customer Service to Customer Care!

Are you in tune with the basics of offering good customer service most of the time? The transactional boxes are checked as questions are answered, disputes mitigated, orders taken and expert advice provided. Then one day, a relationship is formed! We begin to truly care about the well-being of the customer, and our desire to delight them goes to a whole new level. Our attitude shifts from providing good customer service to providing amazing customer care.

What does it look like with our customers when the ‘service-to-care’ transformation occurs?

How does our organization’s culture evolve?

What is the impact on our co-workers and for us personally and professionally?

In this fast paced 3-hour interactive workshop, participants will have an opportunity to re-kindle that passion for providing customer care that sets our organizations out as true leaders in our field.

Cut It Out: Salons Against Domestic Abuse Training

Cut It Out: Salons Against Domestic Abuse Training
CUT IT OUT®: The Beauty Community Against Domestic Abuse is dedicated to mobilizing salon professionals and others to fight the epidemic of domestic abuse in communities across the U.S. by building awareness and training salon professionals to recognize warning signs and safely refer clients, colleagues, friends and family to local resources.

Why the Salon Professional?

Salon professionals are in a unique position to recognize the signs and symptoms of abuse in their clients and co-workers. Because of the intimate and nurturing nature of the relationship between salon professionals and their clients and co-workers, salon professionals can often spot signs of physical abuse that others may never see.
Research shows that most battered women never call the police or go to a shelter. However, they do usually talk about the abuse with someone they trust. Because salon professionals are skilled and experienced listeners who are personally interested in those around them, many victims suffering from abuse feel comfortable confiding in them - even if they would never tell anyone else. For an abused woman, the salon may be an ideal environment to seek out help because it may be one of the few places she is allowed to go without her abuser.

With proper training on how to recognize the signs of abuse and safely refer victims to help, salon professionals can become invaluable and influential community partners in the fight against domestic abuse.

This training is FREE and open to all salon professionals. All attendees will receive a free participant guide as well as educational materials such as cards and posters for their salon. To RSVP please contact Ali Smith at 620-231-8692 or alismith.safehouse@gmail.com
