Safehouse November Lunch & Learn: Supporting Survivors
In the era of #metoo and #whyIdidntreport, how can we best support survivors in our community? This lunch & learn workshop is for those who want to make real change by creating safe spaces for survivors and responding positively to disclosures. Those who attend this workshop will be able to understand the very basics Sexual & Intimate Partner Violence and its impact on individuals, develop a supportive approach to violence disclosures, and increase knowledge of their own needs as supporters. Attendees will bring their own lunch and Safehouse will provide free education and resources.
